The Treehouse Café on Bainbridge Island needed to update their website to enable easier editing, and improve their ticket purchasing system.
We created a new site using WordPress with a customized version of the Events Calendar plug-in, allowing for easy addition of new events by Treehouse staff, and we worked with ShoWare on the ticket purchasing side to enable reserved seating with different seating configurations, and online payments. The site has recently been updated to make it responsive, as well, and ShoWare has added a mobile module to the ticketing purchase function.
A “Snapshots” page incorporates an easy-to-use lightbox-style gallery program for photos. Much of the excellent photography was done by Bainbridge Island photographer Jay Trinidad.
My experience working with Myrna and Brian has exceeded my expectations throughout the entire process of creating the Treehouse Café’s new website. They have the experience and the system in place to gather the necessary information to customize a site to their client’s wants and needs and the knowledge to execute a functional and attractive website. Technical and procedural support has been extremely prompt and thoughtful. At each step along the way, they had the big picture in mind and seamlessly integrated custom ticketing software into our new website. Their knowledge of SEO will give any client an advantage over the competition, and get their site to the top of search engine listings. The training and documentation provided at the end of the development is also thorough and detailed, yet easy to read and understand.
